Role Overview

As we grow we want to expand our relationships and business in the US Market. You will join a global sales team, reporting to the Head of Audio Product Sales, and you will be responsible for driving sales and design wins in the North American market of amplifier components for audio systems. You will play a crucial role in growing our relationships with engineering and product development teams in audio product manufacturers in the region.  You will have an existing customer list to manage and grow, but the main focus will be to deliver to new sales in new accounts across the region. You will become the go-to person for ICEpower modules in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design wins  Grow the module business by targeting activities towards new customers. The plan and outcome are in your hands, we will support you with product training, materials, engineering, marketing, but this is a hands-on role, generating a large pipeline of design opportunities across the industry
  • Relationship Management: Ensure the existing business is running smoothly, by cultivating and maintaining relationships with our key customers in the region. Know their business, help it grow, make sure our plans and products are aligned.
  • Product Knowledge and Consultative Demonstrations: You will be expected to develop and maintain knowledge of our technical products and services. You will be supported by field application engineers, but you should be familiar around audio products, ideally knowing them very well. You will need to give demonstrations, presentations, and be able to articulate the KSPs of our products.

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • You MUST know the audio industry and have worked in it.
  • You should be self driven, people person, and get excited about the sales process.
  • You should have knowledge of  audio product development and must have experience in the industry (ideally in  B2B sales, product management or engineering)
  • Knowledge of the global audio market, ideally with a strong network of audio industry contacts.
  • We have found that experience in audio product sales into distribution/retail is not a good fit to this profile,  so, you would need to show additional experience beyond that.  
  • Proficiency in CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and a data-driven approach to sales management.
  • Able to build a compelling sales pitch and deliver over teams/ppt/in person.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the US and engage with customers and events. Occasional international travel maybe required.
  • You must be eligible to work in the US and to travel to the EU. We will not sponsor VISA or cover any costs related to right to work.
